Iman al-Obeidi broke on 26 March, foreign journalists say that she was detained for two days after arrest at a checkpoint, then hotel in Tripoli, Libya raped by up to 15 men while in the Rixos. A violent scene broke into the hotel authorities whisked threw a blanket over her head and her way and requests by journalists to interview her or to confirm their whereabouts have since denied. But NPR has reached now call al-Obeidi. The story, which tells them is alarming. She says, a doctor has confirmed that she "violently, was raped", that the men who allegedly do not have their raped has been captured, and that she not can leave their homes, because every time she does, she is beaten by foreign.

Iman al-Obeidi, who last month told reporters in Tripoli that was she beaten and by men loyal to Moammar nepotism been raped, says NPR, is no longer in detention.

But she says: "Every day I am beaten."

And she fear for their lives: "they threaten us with murder," she said by phone from our colleague Soraya Sarhaddi Nelson Libya translator in Cairo. Her sister Obeidi said, is also in danger.

Obeidi broke hotel in Tripoli on 26 March. When she tried to recommend reporters what she says it was happen, was it away by authorities in a dramatic scene plays out on dozens of cameras destroyed.

"They took me into a prison for 72 hours afterwards", she told NPR today. If it was allowed to home, "she gave me again and she gave me three times, the last time was yesterday" - If, they go says, she was "very hard beaten [so] that I can leave my bed today."
