About gives to collectors weekly, Jim Linderman us an inspiring taste of his amazing collection of old timey religious industrial zoned tracts. You may recall my earlier post about Jim's great book and CD package "take me to water: immersion baptism in vintage music and photography 1890-1950." His new book, old time religion, presents his collection of religious ephemera. It is also the name of Jim's blog, where he shows the tracts as the two seen above. While some of the gloom and artwork is a pleasure, "most of these now racist, homophobic and offensive, dated screeds are to any religion not a separate", says Jim.
