How fantastic hyperreal: It turned out the United States Postal Service brand new statue of liberty stamp, below, seen accidentally has an illustration of the replica of Lady Liberty in Las Vegas's New York-New York Casino in contrast to the real statue in New York Harbor. A Philatelist and fan of NYC statue noticed the error and informs Linn's stamp news. You studied and published the above comparative photos with the replica on top left. The New York Times:

The service selected the image of a photography service, and roles of the stamp with the image is issued in December. Issued this month have a sheet of 18 Lady Liberty and flag stamps. Accompanied by the original version of the stamp included, a bit of history on the real statue of liberty. Las Vegas was never mentioned. The host was exposed by the magazine, stamp which this week ran photographs of the two statues.

The average tourist are important differences. The Las Vegas statue is half as large as the real statue of liberty. And, of course, they are in different cities. But it takes a real student of Lady Liberty to notice the contrasts in a stamp size photo of her head. The hair is different. The replica eyes are much more sharply defined. A rectangular patch - a plaque, perhaps? -is to the replica Center spike.

"This lady liberty is a Las Vegas teen" (NYT, thanks Bob Pescovitz!)

"Statue of liberty on U.S. postage stamp is a replica outside Las Vegas hotel and Casino" (Linn's stamp News)
