Test of Mars missions in Morocco

A group of scientists gathered recently in a remote region of Morocco, to test instruments designed for a mission to Mars. The dry and varied landscape Morocco offers many opportunities for scientists the limits to the test many instruments, which should be included in the ExoMars effort.

ExoMars is is to study a joint venture of NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA), the Martian atmosphere, geology, and water cycle and look for signs of past and present life. The mission will include an orbiter, a lander and two Rovers.
